The City Council on Monday approved a proposal calling for three one-story buildings across nearly 4 acres, with more than 28,000 square feet of new retail, office, and restaurant space, situated around 50 Glades Road.
The contemporary-style project will be divided into two parts: The West will feature two buildings, one with 6,000 square feet of retail space and the other designated for a fast-food restaurant with a drive-thru and more retail.
The East will encompass a single multi-tenant building with a casual / takeout restaurant, a sit-down restaurant with outdoor seating, approximately 9,000 square feet of retail, and about 5,600 square feet of office space. Overall, East and West will include large outdoor patios and areas for gathering.
The redevelopment of the land for Glades Station will contribute to the beautification of the Glades Road corridor.
